Crafty Tuesday: window hearts January 18, 2011 2 comments Article Anxiety virtuouswomanx Show your windows some love Step one: Grate wax crayon onto wax paper. Step two: Fold wax paper so shavings are enclosed and iron until melted. Step 2.5: Clean up spilt coffee Step three: Trace heart frames. Step four: Cut out heart frames. Step five: Glue frame to wax paper cut to fit, glue frame on back if desired. I painted over frame and wax with sparkling nail polish to add a shimmer (sparkle glue would work too). Step six: Hang in a sunny window and feel the love. This is not a craft I would recommend with small children, the ironing, cutting, hot gluing, and grating. But I let the wee ones make their own version. Subscribe to Virtuous Woman Exposed 2 comments Amber January 19, 2011 at 1:42 AM - Reply Even this is too crafty for me. Heh.
